Fire Ant Control Bradenton
There’s no need to suffer with fire ants on your residential, commercial or agricultural property in Bradenton. Fire Ant Control, LLC’s treatments are fully licensed and insured, and 100% guaranteed to control your fire ant infestations.
Bradenton, in Manatee County, is surrounded by waterways, both fresh and saltwater. And therein lies the problem! Red imported fire ants adore moist land. That’s the reason they prefer watered lawns, highway shoulders, pond shores and river banks as nesting grounds. The Bradenton area, and most of Florida, is paradise for fire ants!
Fortunately, Fire Ant Control, LLC is the best fire ant killer around. We are recognized specialists in controlling red fire ants on any size or type of land.
Careful application of our powerful, food-like granular bait kills the ant colonies from the inside out. The bait contains an insect growth regulator that sterilizes the queen and is approved for use around people, pets, livestock, and on farmland, pastures, and hay fields.
When worker ants ingest the bait and carry it down into the colony, the entire colony will eventually die off naturally, and your property will be nearly free of fire ants.
Fire ants fly to mate, however, so they can return. For this reason, we recommend having your property treated three times a year to prevent further fire ant colonization.
Fire Ant Control’s proven treatment will help protect your family, friends, pets and livestock from potentially lethal fire ant bites and stings, preserve the beneficial native ant populations on your property, and shield your plants, crops, machinery, and electrical equipment from these destructive insects.
You May Have Fire Ants If…
- You see round, flattened mounds of loose soil in lawns, around stumps and trees, or under cement slabs and sidewalks, particularly several days after a heavy rain.
- You disturb the mound, even inadvertently, and see dozens to hundreds of red and black worker ants aggressively rising up from beneath the mound and attacking anything standing above or near it.
- A sting or bite gives you an intense burning sensation and, within a day or so, forms a white fluid-filled pustule or blister at the sting site. Red fire ant venom is the only fire ant venom that causes this symptom.
Keep in mind that just because you don’t see red fire ants everyday does not mean they aren’t there, lurking in elaborate colonies beneath their mounds. Properties with single-queen colonies may have 40 to 150 mounds and about 7 million red fire ants per acre. If infested with multiple-queen colonies, there may be 200 or more mounds and up to 40 million red fire ants per acre!
Outside of calling licensed pest management professionals like Fire Ant Control, there is no “best way” to kill fire ants. The key to controlling these troublemakers is to identify them quickly and take action to minimize the damage they cause to humans, animals and property.
